Yes! Quotes seem cliche to some, but they are such an inspiration to my daily life! It is not always easy to practice these things. I always thing, "well duh." But it's not that easy! I'm definitely a stubborn soul, and so if I don't feel like being in a good mood, or bad mood, or any other kind of mood, then it's hard for me to follow my own advice.
I heard something on a podcast I listen to (Mindset Mentor) that said "You may not be able to control your first thought, but you can control your second" and that is such a true statement. So, acknowledge that you may feel like having a bad attitude at first, but then acknowledge the benefits of having a great attitude from the beginning and act on it! You'll thank you later :)
